What’s been happening:

Graduated PSU June 1978. Joined U.S. Navy at Navy Recruiters Office State College, PA. Commissioned Ensign U.S. Navy September 1978. Surface Warfare Officer, Unrestricted Line until 1988. Transferred into USN Meteorology and Oceanography specialty . Received MS degree in Meteorology and Oceanography from Naval Postgraduate School 1988. Retired from USN in February 2002 at rank of Commander. Founded Weatherguy.com, a consulting company providing meteorological and oceanographic services for private, commercial, and government agencies. Resided in Hawaii since 1993. Married to former Tamlyn Johnson of Saratoga, CA. Have one son, Jackson Shema, age 9 (as of September 2008). Hobbies include sailing and gardening.
